\"\"<\/a>Dear Watersong Family,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wow, what fun we had during our Celebration of Life!!\u00a0 We were all deeply touched by the outpouring of the community support.\u00a0 Many thanks to all of you who made this event possible by your financial gifts, gifts of labor setting up and taking down at the picnic, all your help at the house and chamber, the meals and other food and supplies you provided, the gifts for the family and us and for the use of the VAN to make traveling comfortable.\u00a0 Thanks especially for those of you who learned to be spontaneous day by day with the private sessions!! LOL\u00a0 We trust that everyone received something good from being part of our celebration.\u00a0 It was music to our ears to hear the squeals of laughter from children (young and old) who played games in and out of the water!\u00a0 We always appreciate hearing from you about your experiences here.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We\u2019d especially like to thank the following businesses: <\/span>Ran-Lew Dairy of Snow Camp <\/span><\/strong>for respectfully preparing and cooking our pig and providing delicious homemade sausage,<\/span> Reverence Farms of Saxapahaw<\/span><\/strong> who donated organic eggs and chicken and <\/span>Cove Creek Farm and Nursery of Black Mountain<\/span><\/strong> who donated organic grits, corn meal, eggs, honey, sausage and herbs.\u00a0 We invite you to support these businesses who understand the sacredness of life and our food!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, a son arrived with an infected tooth and we had to act quickly to help since the family was only here for a week!\u00a0 Thanks to <\/span>Dr. Frederick Vohwinkel, DDS,<\/span><\/strong> in Chatham Downs, Chapel Hill, NC for working the son into his busy holiday schedule on Wednesday; and thanks to our good friend and oral surgeon, <\/span>Dr. Brian Camp, DDS, MD<\/span><\/strong> in Raleigh, NC, who worked son in for tooth evaluation on Wednesday afternoon and then removal on Thursday morning!\u00a0 These doctors are the most caring we\u2019ve met, so if you need good dental care, please give them your business or refer to friends!\u00a0 We feel so blessed that this \u201ctooth adventure\u201d worked out so well!!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We and our Lakota family thank all of you for your love, gifts and the respect that you demonstrated.\u00a0 Our Chief feels we have a most loving community and the land here is thriving!\u00a0 We are planting a \u2018seed\u2019 that we can have the family return in the Fall!!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Happy Birthday, Grandfather Joseph Rael, who will be 82 on June 2nd!\u00a0 We give thanks for your love and many teachings and wish you another year filled with good health and many blessings! <\/span><\/span><\/i><\/strong>Remember that we have Grandfather\u2019s books and cards in our Trading Post, along with Lakota and other craft items.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was nice to have Lenore here with her healing sounds in the Chamber!\u00a0 We will keep you posted when she returns!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A reminder that Garth Robertson and Amy Durso will be at the Chamber Sunday, June 11, 3-5, leading a Sacred Sound Ceremony.\u00a0 Please note that we can only hold 40 people for this ceremony so please carefully read the description and how to honor our sacred space.\u00a0 And especially note that <\/span>this ceremony is too intense for children<\/span><\/i><\/strong>, so we suggest 18 and older attend.\u00a0 <\/span>If you need us to hold your space for the ceremony, please let Cheryl know (336 376-9000) BEFORE SUNDAY, 6\/11; otherwise it\u2019s the first 40 people to arrive at the Chamber.\u00a0 RSVP\u2019s are important at this event!<\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also reminders of <\/span>Exploring Story,<\/span><\/strong> Saturday, June 3, 1-5 and our <\/span>Fire Ceremony<\/span><\/strong> on the 7th at 7pm, followed by <\/span>Chanting in the Chamber<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0 Remember if you cannot attend the Fire Ceremony, PLEASE join with others around the world and light a candle at 7pm while praying for the healing of the Waters.\u00a0 We can make a difference by joining our energies this way to bring healing to the Earth!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
